Russia’s Putin declares unilateral three-day ceasefire in Ukraine to mark WWII Victory Day in May
Russian President Vladimir Putin has unilaterally announced a three-day ceasefire in Ukraine from the eighth to the 10th of May.
The Kremlin says the pause in fighting coincides with Moscow's World War Two Victory Day commemorations.
Putin previously announced a surprise truce during the Easter period, but Russia and Ukraine blamed each other for breaching it.
To discuss this, we are joined by our correspondents Yulia Shapovalova in Moscow and Zein Basravi in Kyiv to cover the latest developments.
