Outrage over band's call for people to kill Conservative MPs

The daughter of Sir David Amess, the MP who was stabbed to death, has offered to meet the under-fire rap group Kneecap.

She said she was "heartbroken" after footage emerged of the band saying at a 2023 gig: "The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP."

"I'm more than willing to sit down with them and explain why people in their position should not be inciting this type of violence," Katie Amess told Sarah-Jane Mee.
