Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will stay in office, after his Liberal Party won Monday's election - but it appears to have fallen short of a majority in parliament. The result leaves Mr Carney needing help from political rivals to pass an agenda aimed at confronting Donald Trump's trade war and his threats to annex the country.
