South Africa moves up in press freedom ranking | DW News

It is a grim outlook for press freedom around the world according to this year's Index published by Reporters Without Borders. One of the few bright spots is South Africa, which jumped from 38th to 27th place. That's been helped by court action and a change from a single-party to a coalition government.
