'We always knew this was going to be a challenging election', Badenoch says

Kemi Badenoch has said the Conservatives will "continue to hold Labour's feet to fire" after both parties suffered an electoral battering.

Speaking to Sky News, the Tory leader said: "We always knew this was going to be a challenging
election."

She added: "We are renewing our party, we are rebuilding, but its going to be a long journey."
