Carney to Trump: Canada 'won't be for sale — ever'

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney bluntly told U.S. President Trump that Canada would never be for sale during his first visit to the White House since he won the election in April. "Never say never, never say never," Trump responded.

Carney won the election on a promise to stand up to Trump, who has imposed tariffs on some Canadian products and often muses about annexing the country.
