Pakistan insists India is 'aggressor', refutes 'false accusations' they've attacked rival neighbour

India and Pakistan have fought for decades over the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir. Since India and Pakistan became independent nations, and British colonial rule ended, the two nuclear-armed neighbors have fought two wars over Kashmir, which is split between them but claimed by both in its entirety.
