Pakistan says positive response to ceasefire is in the interest of peace

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Islamabad has responded positively to a proposed ceasefire with India in the larger interest of peace in the region. India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire Saturday after U.S.-led talks to end the most serious military confrontation between the nuclear-armed rivals in decades but accused each other of violating the deal just hours later.
