Border skirmishes 'generally manageable', Pakistan's UK high commissioner says
Mohammed Faisal, Pakistan's high commissioner to the UK, addressed reports of explosions being heard in India-administered Kashmir following a ceasefire agreement mediated by the US.
Faisal said ceasefire violations happen "all the time" at the Line of Control and that he hoped the reports of explosions were an aberration and the ceasefire holds.
The high commissioner said border skirmishes are "generally manageable," adding "the Line of Control heats up, cools down. It is not an international border."
