Trump: No movement on peace talks without Putin

U.S. President Trump, currently on a tour of the Middle East, undercut the chances of a Russia-Ukraine peace breakthrough when he said there would be no movement without a meeting between himself and Russian President Putin.
 
Putin dispatched a second-tier team to take part in talks in Istanbul. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said his decision not to attend showed the Russian leader was not serious about ending the war.
