Ukraine peace talks: How powerful is Europe's new alliance? | To The Point

Could a new constellation of European leadership help secure a lasting peace in Ukraine? Recently the leaders of Germany, France, Poland and the UK have been stepping up pressure on Vladimir Putin with a symbolic joint visit to Kyiv underscoring their resolve. The new German chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk are together demanding that Russia come to the negotiating table.
