Four environmental and human rights groups have taken TotalEnergies' controversial EACOP mega-oil project in Uganda and Tanzania to the East African Court of Justice. And this time, it's the two countries themselves on trial. This is the last possible appeal in this legal battle that has been going on for 4 years.
